Project Overview
On behalf of Attainable Homes Calgary, O2 is proposing to redesignate the parcel located at 1020 2 Avenue NW to enable a 6-storey multi-family residential development on a transit-oriented site in the heart of Sunnyside.
The redesignation will enable:
A Direct Control land use district – based on the
M-H1 (Multi-Residential- High Density Low Rise) District.A maximum building height of 26 metres (6 storeys).
A maximum density of 4 Floor Area Ratio (FAR) as outlined under the Hillhurst-Sunnyside Area Redevelopment Plan.
Construction of crucial rental housing within walking distance of transit, services and amenities.
Advancement of several key objectives in Home is Here: Calgary’s Housing Strategy 2024-2030 approved by City of Calgary council on September 16, 2023.
